harmony, inc. is the loving product of mark jacobson, a musician and all-around music buff. originally from chicago, mark now makes his home in seattle, washington, where he works as an advertising strategist for microsoft. outside of work, mark plays the piano, guitar, bass, saxophone and clarinet. he’s done studio work in chicago and played gigs in chicago and new york, including a guest appearance at paul colby’s the bitter end, new york’s oldest rock & roll club, and a staple stage in the careers of joan baez, billy joel, dr. john, les paul, curtis mayfield, harry chapin and bob dylan – just to name a few.

mark writes this blog as a way to share his love of music with his family and friends who are spread out all over the world. just like any other art form, music is meant to be shared, discussed and debated. so whether you vehemently disagree with the things mark has to say on this blog, couldn’t agree more, or simply want to add a few ideas to the mix, please feel free to speak your mind.
